Jennifer Lauck is the author of four memoirs, including the New York Times Bestseller, Blackbird: A Childhood Lost and Found and her most recent book, Found.

An award-winning investigative reporter, Jennifer has studied Tibetan Buddhism for nearly ten years, is a dedicated meditation student, and has received teachings from many great masters including the H.H. Dalai Lama, Lama Adzom Rinpoche, and Eco-philosopher Joanna Macy.

She has taught memoir writing and "transformative writing" for more than ten years, here in Portland and around the U.S., and she speaks nationally on issues of adoption, motherhood, transcendence, happiness, and writing as a way to heal.
