Merridawn Duckler is a senior fellow at the Attic Institute, a member of the Atheneum faculty, and a leading writing coach in the Individual Consult Group.
Merridawn has published fiction widely, with recent stories in Farallon Review, and forthcoming from Poetica. Her non-fiction has appeared in The Art Book Review, Isotope, Contact Quarterly, So It Goes, journal of the Kurt Vonnegut Memorial Library and she was a non-fiction winner at Writers@Work. Her poetry has appeared most recently in Cirque Journal, Naugatuck River Review and forthcoming from Agave and Sugarhouse Review. She was first runner-up for the 2014 Arizona Poetry Center residency. She was a selected playwright in the Manhattan Shakespeare Project’s Emerging Female Playwright Festival and her plays have been performed in Oregon, Washington, California, Nevada and Valdez, Alaska. Fellowships in fiction, playwrighting and poetry include Yaddo, Centrum, Squaw Valley, SLS in St. Petersburg, Russia, NEA, the Berta Anolic Visual Arts Fellowship in Israel, Myer and Anna Wolf Prize, Norman Mailer Center, Southampton Poetry Conference and others.
