SPRING II: Natalie Serber's Multi-Genre Workshop | May 14 - June 11

“I just keep trying to make something out of words that you’d think couldn’t be made out of words.”  Deborah Eisenberg

To recognize the world as a beautiful place, we must put ourselves in the path of beauty. To be a writer, we must put ourselves in the path of good writing and peers. In this workshop we will be reading and discussing the essays and stories of writers like Zadie Smith, Tobias Wolff, Celeste Ng, and others. Each week we will also have the chance to hear and comment upon one another's work. This workshop is meant for writers who have a few stories under their belt, a novel or memoir underway and are ready to share their work with other writers. The bulk of workshop time will be spent talking about your work, with additional discussions on writing craft, and the assigned readings.
