SPRING: Emily Whitman's Middle-Grade and Young-Adult Novels Workshop | Apr 2 - Apr 30

Playground

Are you writing a middle-grade or young-adult novel and you need some sparks of inspiration? Or are you looking for ideas to jumpstart a new project? This generative workshop is all about play and discovery. Each week we’ll do exercises about aspects of craft—character, voice, tension, and more. Some weeks you’ll bring in a few pages of your writing to explore in new ways. We’ll talk about how to turn these discoveries into tools for your work in progress. Come have fun, and go home with a bucket of ideas. This workshop is for writers at all levels. | Maximum: 12 writers
