You have a thousand stories inside your head. You have experiences you know would make killer essays, maybe even a memoir. You love language and write poems on napkin corners. But can you call yourself a writer, you wonder. Sharing your work with others sounds terrifying at best. The biggest obstacles for emerging writers is not lack of skill or experiences to write about. Instead, it's the lack of self-confidence. This workshop is designed for those who want to be writers, but are not sure they can be. In it you will experience a safe space for you to explore your interest in writing within a community of others who are on a similar journey as you. You will have the opportunity to share your writing with an encouraging audience and to receive feedback that will help you identify and build your creative strengths. If you have work to share, bring it. If you have nothing prepared, just bring an open mind to the possibilities this class may open for you. You're the only possible author of your truth—come discover that you ARE the writer you've always wanted to be. | Maximum: 12 writers
