NEW: David Ciminello's Fiction Factory | Oct 25 - Dec. 6

“Having just a vision's no solution, Everything depends on execution. The art of making art Is putting it together.” ~ Stephen Sondheim

The sum is greater than the whole, meaning there is a connection among the individual items that it is better than what each one would be alone. In this generative prompt-driven workshop participants will create and utilize a writer’s toolkit full of literary and poetic devices to draft and revise a series of short pieces that can be connected or expanded upon. Strong focus on character, setting, scene, form, and theme. We will experiment with various forms and break the rules, turning drafted pieces upside down and inside out. The process will include in-workshop writing, homework assignments, shares, and supportive feedback. Mostly we will have fun. Open to all genres. | Maximum: 12 writers
