NEW: Edward Derby's Get Published Workshop | Oct 24 - Nov 28

Submitting Poetry and Short Fiction for Publication: Researching, Choosing, Planning, Tracking, Doing!

This is a five week working session to get you in the habit of submitting your work for publication.  Stop talking about it and do it.  Each two hour session you will submit at least one prose piece or group of poems in class. This class is best for those who have only submitted a little, or none at all, and want some structure and guidance to get in the habit of seeking publication for their creative work. We will work on: identifying the three tiers of best fit publications for your work, composing cover letters, proofreading and making final revisions, tracking submissions, building a submissions calendar, building a habit of seeking publication. Students will need work they consider ready to submit, a wifi-enabled computer, a credit card or paypal account (for submission fee payments where applicable). No class week of Thanksgiving. | Maximum: 12 writers
