SPRING: ONE DAY NATIONAL POETRY MONTH WORKSHOP | New Poems Workshop with John Morrison | Apr 7

Celebrate the beginning of National Poetry Month with a half-day workshop generating and writing new poems

In honor of poetry month, let’s get some juicy poems started! K.E. Duffin tells us a poem “must arrive like an astonished, unerring sleepwalker,” so let’s stir up and bring to the light some of those poems we have sleeping inside. In an afternoon dedicated to kicking off new poems, we’ll run through a series of playful and revelatory activities. Come ready to scribble, explore and share, and be ready to carry home imaginative sparks like a jar full of fireflies. This session welcomes poets of any experience level.
