With Portland's deep literary roots, it was just a matter of time before we got a our own bookish podcast. And here it is: Isaac Eldridge and Michelle Fredette's "Go Away, I'm Reading," a podcast about reading books, buying books, and obsessing over books.
Recent episodes include "books we loved in 2016," a discussion with book critic Jonathan Russell Clark, and a conversation with Stevan Allred and Joanna Rose, authors who run a critique group and Portland institution called The Pinewood Table. Even "Go Away"'s website is worth a look, since Eldrige and Fredette list the books they mention in each episode. Inspirational! I'm making my reading list.
