The Attic Institute Experience

"I recently signed a contract with a journal called Big Pulp, and expect to see my short story in print soon. This is my first sale. The piece benefited greatly from my relationship with the Attic Institute. I took my first workshop with Merridawn Duckler. This was a tremendous experience not only for the instruction received, but for the relationships I established with other writers in the class. Four of us continue to meet monthly. My story debuted to this group and their comments led to a round of revisions that made it stronger. In the meantime, I enrolled in Shanna Germain's class, where my story received additional attention that resulted in improvements.
